Floor Staining

You can showcase your style by choosing the right wood floor colour for your home! Depending on the preferences of our customers, hardwood floors can be pre-stained or pre-finished in the factory or can be sanded and stained after installation. You can choose from a wide range of stain options for your hardwood floors with the help of professionals. Our stain colours for oak and solid parquet floors are some of the most common.

The following are some of the staining colours we offer:

  • Antique Pine Wood Floor Staining
  • Light Oak Wood Floor Staining
  • Medium Oak Wood Floor Staining
  • Dark Oak Wood Floor Staining
  • American Walnut Wood Floor Staining
  • Mahogany Wood Floor Staining
  • Teak Wood Floor Staining

We also offer quality wood treatments and clear topcoats for flooring. All colours, shades, and opacities are available. In addition to oak brown and red cedar, other colours include chestnut brown, ochre, redwood, and many more. Beautiful and even, the colour of a well-stained floor appears smooth and velvety. The look of dirty floors is dull, spotty, and soiled when they are badly stained. When combining two or more stains, we can dilute and mix them to achieve the desired colour. When used together, water-based or spirit-based stains must be used. Spirit is the main ingredient in most stains on the market. In addition, a water-based varnish could be applied. It's important to note that the colour of the flooring can change significantly based on factors such as:

  • Humidity
  • Age when felled
  • Country of origin
  • Age
  • Type of wood

Wood floor stains are a difficult task; a lot can go wrong, but do not worry, you're in the right place. We offer excellent floor staining services based on our 15 years of experience in wood flooring. Most commonly, the yellowing of the floor is a result of sanding defects. Since we have experienced flooring specialists and state-of-the-art technology, our flooring firm can stain wooden floors to the highest standards.

Gap filling is a practice that most floors go through during their lifetime. Gap filling serves two purposes: preventing draughts from flowing between the floorboards and providing an even appearance. Wooden floors can be filled in one of two ways.

First, use either a solvent-based filler or a water-based filler to combine fine dust from the sanding process. Bona Mix and Fill, a water-based filler, prevent the unpleasant odour of solvent-based fillers. We can begin spreading the dust and resin paste on the floor and filling in the gaps once they have been mixed. Filling gaps up to 5 mm wide can be accomplished using this method.

Secondly, pine slivers can be used to fill wide gaps between floorboards. Once the slivers were added to the cracks with Bona glue, we sanded off the excess material after 18 to 24 hours. Most of the time, the results are better than those of the first method.

One reason for the creation of gaps in the boards is moisture-induced movement. Filling gaps comes in a variety of shapes and sizes. To fill cracks and gaps before applying the finish to newly finished floors, wood fillers are the best option. Resins and solid strips are also used. It is routinely employed in parquet and mosaic floors to cover the gaps. It's ideal for filling small gaps and fissures.

Floor gap filling has many advantages, including:

    • Insulation
    • Appeal
    • Durability has improved.
    • It increases the value of your home
    • Your flooring will last longer.
    • A budget-friendly option

The carpeting no longer needs to be covered. Having a draught-free floor will save you money on energy and gas costs. As a result, your home will be more eco-friendly. Insects are also prevented from entering your home through gaps in the flooring due to gap-filling. It is also a long-lasting option that will last for years or decades. Once you have sealed all holes, cracks, and sanded your boards, your floors will look like new.
